Anna Hazare ends his vow of silence at Rajghat












New Delhi:  Gandhian activist Anna Hazare ended his vow of silence early this morning at Rajghat. Mr Hazare reached Delhi last night from his native village Ralegan Siddhi. Later in the day today, he will participate in a parliamentary panel meeting on Lokpal Bill.

Mining scam: Jagan Reddy appears before CBI; party workers protest












Hyderabad:  Jagan Mohan Reddy is being questioned by the CBI today on his links with Karnataka mining baron Gali Janardhana Reddy. The YSR Congress leader was summoned by the investigating agency yesterday. Some of his party workers have gathered outside the CBI office and are raising slogans in protest.

2G scam: Kanimozhi to appeal for bail in High Court today












Delhi:  DMK MP Kanimozhi will appeal in the High Court today for bail in the 2G scam case. Yesterday, a CBI court in Delhi dismissed her bail plea along with that of seven other accused. (Read: Charges against Kanimozhi) 

Follow Uttarakhand example, says Anna after ending maun vrat











New Delhi:  Anna Hazare ended his 19-day vow of silence today with many words. He gave an A+ to the anti-corruption bill passed in Uttarakhand this week, said he suspected the UPA government's motives on the Lokpal Bill and sought to distance himself from any political alignment as he campaigns against corruption.
