Click to play videoNew Delhi: The Delhi Police on Saturday arrested 31-year-old corporate executive Sumit Handa for killing his NRI wife. Handa, a business development manager with a travel firm, strangulated and stabbed his wife to death on October 29.
The couple were reportedly having marital differences over the past few months. After an altercation, Handa killed her and dumped her body in a bag on the outskirts of Haryana. He then set the body on fire.
In order to avoid suspicion, Handa filed a missing persons complaint and also sent emails to his wife's account asking her to return.
Handa had met his wife in South Africa a few years back.
The police started interrogating Handa when they found discrepancies in his versions of what went wrong.
