Karnataka ex-CM BSY gets bail, to walk free








Bangalore: Former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa has got bail in the land denotification case and is now set to walk free.
Yeddyurappa was in jail in connection with two land scam cases.
The court granted partial relief to Yeddyurappa in one of the two corruption cases relating to alleged irregularities in denotifying government land for personal gains on November 3.


Yeddyurappa was arrested on October 15 after a special Lokayukta court charged him in alleged irregularities in denotifying government land.
He was shifted to a hospital on October 16 citing chest pains.
He returned to jail the next day only to get admitted in another hospital the very same evening.
There are five cases against Yeddyurappa. However, he was in jail in connection with only two cases.
