New Delhi: Senior BJP leader LK Advani addressed the media today where he announced the plans for his anti-corruption yatra. Here are the highlights:
- Tomorrow is October 11, Jaiprakash's birthday. And the yatra will begin from tomorrow
- Tomorrow early morning I will go to Jaiprakash's birth place which is on Bihar-UP border. I will start my yatra from there, and will come back November 20
- Till 2004, Vajpayee was the Prime Minister of the NDA govt. I think it was a good government.
- Today, we are the Opposition and we are fulfilling that responsibility effectively
- Because of the kind of leadership the nation has got, there is anger among people - over price rise, corruption, and lack of efforts to bring back black money
- There is increasing anger among people and the reason for this anger is UPA leadership
