Wallace now faces the possibility of more than 40 years in jail in addition to a fine of $2 million US.

A judge banned him from using social networking sites in 2009, but authorities say he has violated that ban.

The indictment filed in San Jose federal court said Wallace compromised about 500,000 Facebook accounts by sending "phishing" messages that tricked users of the social networking site into providing their passwords.

73% in Punjab drug addicts: Amarinder



Punjab has the second highest number of drug addicts in India after Nagaland, state Congress chief Amarinder Singh said Friday, quoting a United Nations Development Project report.
As many as 73 percent of the adults are addicts, Singh said, with 62 per cent of them between the ages of 19 and 24. He was speaking on the topic, ‘Punjab of my Dreams’, at the Punjab Press Club’s Meet the Press programme.

This year's ‘Harvest-2011', an annual project Arushi Arts has organised for over a decade, has been conceptualised in fond remembrance as the artist, who passed away on June 9 this year in London, had actively collaborated with the gallery in celebrating art.

Post his wife's death, he decides to go on a 'char dham yatra' with her ashes, but he only returns to realise that the pension office has declared him dead.  This creates a new set of problems for him. In spite of many attempts to prove himself alive, he fails to get justice from the slow and corrupt administrative system. So, he decides to take law in his own hands. Will Mussaddi be able to get justice in the end, is the question, the flick aims to answer.

Mumbai, Aug 7: Though Salman Khan is busy with several movies in hand, 'Dabangg' producer Arbaaz Khan said he was ready for 'Dabangg-2'. But the bad news is, Salman's fans will have to wait for at least another year-and-a-half to watch the sequel.
Arbaaz Khan knows that Salman is too busy shooting for the movies in hand. His immediate priority is 'Bodyguard', which is already making headlines even before the completion of its shooting.
"I am ready for 'Dabangg-2', but I have to wait for Salman's dates. I must respect him, being a superstar, it's not easy to devote time so easily," says Arbaaz.

Somalia: Gunfire said to kill 7 as aid is looted


Mogadishu, Somalia:  Somali government troops opened fire at hungry civilians on Friday, killing at least seven people, as both groups made a grab for the food at a U.N. distribution site in the capital of this famine-stricken country, witnesses said.

Witnesses accused the government soldiers for starting the chaos by trying to steal some of the 290 tons of dry rations as the aid workers tried to hand them out in the biggest camp in Mogadishu for famine refugees. Then refugees joined in the scramble, prompting some soldiers to open fire, they said.

Lava rivers flow out of Hawaii volcano


Hawaii:  A new lava flow has broken out at Kilauea, a volcano in Hawaii that has been continuously erupting for nearly three decades.
 
The lava flow is entirely within Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and currently poses no hazard to residents.
 
The Hawaiian Volcano Observatory said on Wednesday that lava broke out at 2:20 pm local time.
 
The location was less than half a mile from the Kamoamoa fissure that erupted in March.
