South India Ahoy-2: Remakes flavor of the season - SINGHAM latest addition

Off-late Hindi cinema has been getting inspired from the content of South Indian films in a big way. Inspiration has been particularly rather strong from the Telugu film industry where apart from the content being used in Hindi cinema, even the lead actors of Telugu cinema are gradually migrating to the world of Hindi cinema. One does not know whether this osmotic interaction between the Telugu film industry and the Hindi film industry has been catalyzed by the large scale migration of villains of Hindi cinema to Telugu film industry, but this interaction is producing some sleek films.

SINGHAM produced by Reliance Entertainment Company and directed by Rohit Shetty is the latest addition to the category. Ajay Devgn, who always was lean and mean, is the latest covert to the six pack abs as he has shown it in SINGHAM. His lady interest in the film Kajal Aggarwal, who is one of the hottest female stars in Telugu film industry, in fact made her debut with the Hindi film KYUN HO GAYA NA, where she had played a small role.
Though SINGHAM is a film which is situated in a small town of Maharashtra, the film eventually moves to Goa one of the most favorite shooting locations for Rohit Shetty. The sizzling and jaw-dropping action that has been filmed for SINGHAM by Rohit Shetty, emphasizes the point that indeed he is a worthy son of his illustrious father Shetty, who was fight and action master for scores of Hindi films.
Ajay Devgn has developed this penchant for sporting a moustache whenever he plays a cop, and it had started way back with Prakash Jha's DAMUL, and continues to be there in SINGHAM as well in an impacted manner. One thing that can be talked about Ajay Devgn with conviction is that when he steps into doing an action film, nobody can stand up to him in terms of deliverance on the screen as he had shown it with GOLMAAL series and for SINGHAM he has taken it up one notch higher.
As SINGHAM is an action film, it provides leverage to Rohit Shetty to shoot in quaint places around Goa, not bothering about the oft-filmed locations of the most famous beaches in Goa, and it adds to the persona of SINGHAM. For a change Ajay Devgn is playing a Marathi character in SINGHAM and, as the title suggests, the story line it should be a roaring presentation when it hits the screen on 15 July.
