To enable this, head on over to your profile settings, choose 'Expected: Child' from a list of options in the 'Family & Friends' tab (in a drop down that also lists brother, cousin, or other family members option), users can add list an expected child. To do so, users visit their profile, click “Edit Profile”, enter the Family & Friends tab, and under Family select to “Add another family member”. They can then select “Expected: Child” from the drop down, and then choose to enter a due date and name.
After you have filled this in and saved it, the update will also appear in the public news feed. A blank profile picture named “Expected: Child” with name and due date (if applicable) will then show up in the Family section of the your profile.

Users have used this option for practical jokes too, listing their own Facebook Friends as their unborn child. Before Facebook fixed this glitch, it used to display only the Friend's name in the user's profile as their expected child. (MensXP.com)
