Yuvraj, Harbhajan out of series

Spinner Pragyan Ojha (left) will replace the injured Harbhajan Singh for the rest of the Test series.
AP Spinner Pragyan Ojha (left) will replace the injured Harbhajan Singh for the rest of the Test series.
Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh, who sustained injuries during the second Test here, have been ruled out of the remainder of the four-match series.
They will be replaced by left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha and middle-order batsman Virat Kohli, who will join the squad as soon as possible. A scan revealed that Harbhajan has a grade-one abdominal muscle strain.

The injury is expected to sideline the off-spinner for three weeks.
He has had a disappointing time in England, conceding 218 runs for a wicket at Lord's and bowling only 13.4 overs (for 69 runs and one wicket) here at Trent Bridge. The other spinner currently with the team is Amit Mishra, who bowls leg-spin. Yuvraj, who was hit on his left hand by Tim Bresnan in the second innings, suffered a fractured index finger.
He is expected to be out of action for four weeks. The team management will also be keeping a close eye on the fitness of Virender Sehwag, who joined the team on Wednesday, and Zaheer Khan.
India plays a two-day practice match in Northampton from Friday before the third Test at Birmingham from next Wednesday.
