Accident victim dies of police laxity

An accident victim on Gurgaon expressway could not be saved as the two police- Gurgaon and Delhi got locked in debate over the jurisdiction of accident.

The callous approach of police came to fore on Monday morning when a Tavera vehicle of a call centre hit a motorcycyle-borne couple on express way.As the police of two states were busy in finalizing the jurisdiction, the biker succumbed to injuries after long battle with the life. However, the man could have been saved if he was immediately taken to hospital.Meanwhile, victim's wife has been rushed to the nearby hospital in critical condition.

According to the sources, the call centre cab hit the motorcycle in a speed of 120 kmph. Soon after the accident, locals nabbed the driver and handed him over to police.
