Pakistani delegation meets Anna for tips on anti-graft crusade

New Delhi:  Social activist Anna Hazare, who led one of India's biggest mass movements against corruption, received a Pakistani delegation at his home in Ralegan Siddhi, Maharashtra, today.

The two member delegation - Justice Nasir Alam Zahid, a former judge and Karamat Ali, the Director of Pakistan Institute for Labour, Education and Research - is in India  to seek Anna's opinion on starting a similar anti-corruption drive in their country.

"We want support from Anna in our fight against corruption. We have invited him to come to Pakistan," said Justice Zahid after the meeting which was organised by an NGO Sarhad.

Anna told the delegation that he was unwell, but "may travel to Pakistan once he was better."

Mr Hazare's 12-day fast in New Delhi last month demanding a strong anti-graft bill, attracted the support of massive crowds throughout the country.
