Investigators have made some arrest in connection with the Delhi High Court blast case and the suspects are being questioned, Union Home Secretary R K Singh said today.
He said National Investigation Agency (NIA), which is probing the case, has got some clues and there is progress.
He, however, refused to divulge details.
"Some people have been arrested and they are being interrogated," Singh told reporters when asked about the progress of the case.
"We have clues. There is progress also. But we do not want to disclose whatever progress we have made as it will hamper the investigation," he said on sidelines of a function here.
The NIA had yesterday raised the reward money from Rs 5 to Rs 10 lakh for anybody giving information about the perpetrators of the blast.
A powerful bomb placed in a briefcase outside the Delhi High Court on September 7, in an attack authorities said was claimed by HuJI.
The two kilogram bomb dug a crater three to four feet deep near the main reception counter where passes are issued for lawyers and visitors to enter the sprawling sandstone building before the main security checkpoint.
Authorities said they are investigating a claim of responsibility allegedly made by the Harkat-ul-Jihad- Islami (HuJI) militant group – an al Qaeda affiliate with bases in Pakistan and Bangladesh.
