Bangalore: One person was arrested on Friday for allegedly using duplicate credit cards to purchase air tickets and Rs. 23 lakh have been seized from his different bank accounts, police said.
Satyaprakash Samal (25), a native of Orissa, had allegedly cheated well-known travel firm, Thomas Cook, by purchasing air tickets worth Rs. 27 lakh from them using fake credit cards, police said.
Police also seized Rs. 2.81 lakh in his possession when he was arrested.
