Pietersen is enjoying the contest

London: Kevin Pietersen feels the England bowlers made the difference in the Lord’s Test.
“It’s a fantastic bowling unit. They stay so calm... Boys are right up there among the best,” the Man of the Match said on Monday.
Pietersen was also moved by the number of people who were present at the ground on the final day. “Potentially, the number of people who came over was great... For us as players it is magnificent to see so many people. On a Monday to see so many people was great…”

He is excited at the prospect this series holds. “I think we have said that it is going to be a huge summer. It is totally different from playing Australians. There is a genuine hatred against the Aussies…
“We have obviously got goals set as a team. India has a great team and fantastic batsmen. It is different, but with the public interest it is going to be great,” he felt.
He felt India’s bowling is going to be hit hard by the absence of Zaheer Khan. “Without Zaheer, the other bowlers had to work really hard.
“Praveen Kumar bowled nearly 61 overs, Ishant bowled a lot. With the second Test coming up, they both could be very tired.”
