SRK shoots for a cameo in Dia-Zayed starrer, despite postponing Yash Chopra’s directorial comeback
Shah Rukh Khan recently postponed Yash Raj’s directorial comeback to next year, stating he didn’t have time for it, with his big releases, Ra.One and Don 2 slated to release this year. Fair enough. But what SRK did have time for, was shooting for the unnamed Zayed Khan-Dia Mirza starrer at a suburban lounge. Sources say that SRK shot for a cameo appearance in the film which he did as a favour for Zayed, who he had previously worked with in ‘Main Hoon Na’.
The King Khan of Bollywood, as SRK is popularly known as, has also signed up for Abhinav Deo’s next, opposite Sonakshi. According to a source, “The flick will be an unusual love story about two people, who meet under extremely trying circumstances. It will go on floors at the end of the year, and will be shot in Australia.”
SRK took every initiative to keep his cameo performance for this film under wraps as it would disrupt other filmmakers who has been refusing on account of lack of shooting dates. But now that the cat is out of the bag, SRK better have a new excuse to offer Bollywood biggies who have lining up to sign him in their films.
