Ahmedabad: A 27-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping off a ten-storied building on Sunday. Hetal Thakkar, a resident of Kantipark Housing Society, jumped to death in Ghatlodiya area. Thakkar, who was married to a small-time businessman, was staying with her mother since the last two months, police said.
The woman, who has a two-year-old son, told her mother that she was going to the temple. But instead she went to the nearby Samarpan tower and jumped off its terrace. She died on the spot.

According to the police, Thakkar's mother Shanta Patel told them that her daughter had been suffering from a psychiatric disorder since the last 10 years.
