Honeycomb Hits Australian Market
With a price tag Rs. 32,999, finally Asus has launched the TF101 Eee Pad Transformer, also named as Honeycomb. The price would be offered for the 16GB WI-Fi model but Asus had confirmed that in the same price range, the docking station would also be included.
This latest creation had been restructured with the 3.1 software, so that UI transitions, flexible and scrollable apps menu, resizable home screen widgets, along with improvements to the standard Web browser, calendar, e-mail and gallery apps can be achieved.
The tablet single-handedly has limited connectivity, but when it would be connected with the docking station, it would be offering two USB ports, a multi-touch touchpad, SD-card reader and a full QWERTY keyboard with a full-fledged notebook.
The docking station confers a full QWERTY keyboard, a multi-touch touchpad, two USB ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a built-in SD card reader. It would also be offering 16 hours extended battery.
Alex Huang, country head, Asus Technology (India) added, "We are excited to launch the much-awaited ASUS Transformer in India. With its modified features and stylish looks, it would be passing a rebellion in the field of technology. With this innovative product, the Indian consumers would experience cutting edge technology that the world has been talking of”.
