India opener Virender Sehwag fails in Northants clash

Virender SehwagSehwag scored 13 and 11 during his last Test match for India in January
Virender Sehwag made just eight runs on his comeback from injury for India at Northampton.
The 32-year-old opener missed the first two Test defeats against England while recovering from shoulder surgery.
Sehwag returned for the two-day game against Northants but was lbw to second XI bowler David Burton as India closed the day on 327-7.

He could return to the side for the third Test at Edgbaston next week as India look to fight back from 2-0 down.
After Sehwag was dismissed with the score on 15, Gautam Gambhir - who also missed the second Test through injury - was next out for 18 as Northants made early inroads.

But Abhinav Mukund and VVS Laxman put on 132 for the third wicket before Lee Daggett had Laxman caught behind one run short of his half century.
Mukund clocked up a total of 113 before retiring to allow captain MS Dhoni to bat after tea.
However Dhoni only scored two before falling to Luke Evans.
The match will finish on Saturday in front of a sell-out crowd at Wantage Road, with Indian seamer Zaheer Khan back in action after picking up a hamstring injury during the first innings at Lord's.
