Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has dozens of visitors thronging his office every day, but this visitor was different - a man, believed to be mentally unstable, sat on his chair for a few minutes while the CM and his ministers were attending a cabinet meeting in another chamber.
Identified as Jose, the intruder reportedly entered the CM's chamber along with other visitors. Security personnel handed him over to the police. Later, he was let off.
While many see this as a serious breach of security, the Chief Minister tried to downplay the incident.
"If I take these things seriously, then it will mean imposing restrictions on visitors. That will cause a lot of inconvenience to them," he said.
