Shankar, in an interview to a vernacular magazine, has said that he might make a sequel to his hit film Indian.
He was quoted as saying, "After Anna Hazare's movement, several people have been asking me to make a sequel to Indian. Even my producer, A M Rathnam, has been urging me to go ahead with the sequel. I will see how things pan out after Nanban releases."
So, will Indian 2 be Shankar's next after Nanban?
A source close to the director says, "Shankar has a sequel in mind, but he hasn't started translating his thoughts on the paper yet. It's just an idea and if it works out, he's sure it will be received well. But as of now, even Shankar is uncertain about what he will do next."
