Bhubaneswar: India on Monday test fired its indigenously developed nuclear capable ballistic missile Prithvi-II off the Orissa coast, defence sources said.
The missile was blasted off from the Integrated Test Range at Chandipur, about 230 km from here. The medium-range missile, which can carry a pay-load of 500 kg, has a maximum range of 350 km.
India had successfully test fired its surface-to-surface ballistic missile Shourya from the same test base Saturday.
