Mumbai: Tarak Bajpai, the Chief Operating Officer of Online Survey Company Speak Asia, has been taken into custody by the Economic Offences Wing of the Mumbai police.
Mr Bajpai was taken into custody in Indore last night, and is being brought to Mumbai.
Earlier, the BJP leader Kirit Somaiya had alleged the online survey company was involved in a Rs. 2000 crore scam and should be probed.
The Singapore-based company ran into a controversy over its alleged pyramid scheme, which involves paid subscribers filling up online consumer survey forms and luring more into its fold in return for commissions.
