Report by Pravuprasad Routray; Bhubaneswar: Senior Biju Janata Dal Leader Damodar Rout on Sunday formally announced to float a socio-political forum Biju Bichar Manch. He said the forum will be launch on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 2.
It should be noted that Dr Rout a Biju loyalist. He was asked to resign from the Ministry for which no reason has been assigned to since May. He asserted that the Biju Bichar Manch would certainly make the BJD and its supremo Naveen Patnaik stronger. There nothing like going against the party, he clarified.
He said there was nothing wrong or unethical in floating a platform, which would popularise and help expand the Biju legacy and ideals of the legendary Biju Patnaik. He further said that the BJD is now a conglomeration of Biju loyalists and those who had been denigrating Biju Patnaik, he said there are some members who had not the chance of being associated with the all time great Biju Babu during his life time.
