It is unlikely that you will find actor Ranveer Singh talking about Bollywood hottie Sonakshi Sinha anymore.
Post reports of his split with actor Anushka Sharma which insinuated at Sonakshi being the reason for it, Ranveer hasbeen issued ‘strict instructions’ about not talking about his new ‘best buddy’.
“Ask Ranveer anything, and he’ll talk. He loves to be candid. This habit of his landed him trouble numerous times. This time, it’s Sonakshi who’s upset with him for speaking of her as being his good friend. She has told him to maintain a strict confidentiality about each other,” says a source.
Both Sonakshi and Ranveer haven’t hidden the fact that both of them find each other very attractive and have reportedly been spotted together numerous times.
Though they are not officially dating, Sonakshi and Ranveer have become quite close to each other, say common friends.
“Right now, Ranveer’s at a very crucial phase of his career. He cannot affordto talk about his preference for co-stars, feels Sonakshi. She has already made it clear that Ranveer is nothing, but her co-star and she wants him to do the same,” the source adds, saying, “Ranveer is quite keen to acquire a brand endorsement deal and is aware that his personal life at this point of time shouldn’t be his claim to fame.”
Ranveer will apparently henceforth evade any questions on Sonakshi and refer to her as ‘just a co-star.’
“It’s a stand that both of them have taken just to douse the speculation about them. Ranveer will henceforth refer to Sonakshi as a colleague and not a ‘good friend’ which in Bollywood parlance has now come to mean that they are dating,” says the source.
