Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar sent a messenger to meet Anna Hazare in Ralegan Siddhi village in Maharashtra today.
MLA Devesh Thakur met the anti-corruption crusader and briefed him about the developments in Bihar like fast-track courts for criminal cases.
Anna Hazare was reportedly impressed.
On Tuesday this week, the chief minister had announced that his office will be brought under the purview of the Lokpal in the state to make it more effective.
Announcing it in his blog, Nitish said an amendment to this effect in the present Lokpal Bill will be introduced in the winter session of the Bihar Assembly.
