Delhi: Sonia Gandhi seemed to be in good health as she chaired an hour-long meeting at her home today, said her party colleagues. This was her first public appearance after she returned to Delhi a few days ago from the US, where she underwent surgery.
Mrs Gandhi, sources said, attended the entire meeting. She wore a grey salwaar-kameez.
Mrs Gandhi's colleagues in the Congress have not been able to meet her since she arrived in Delhi early morning on September 8, accompanied by her daughter, Priyanka.
Mrs Gandhi's party has refused to comment on the sort of operation or the nature of the medical problem that led to her spending six weeks in America.
