With Love from Shahid

He is completely at peace with his chocolate-boy image. Having proved his versatility with Kaminey, Shahid Kapoor does not mind doing yet another love story. This time, for his father’s directorial debut, Mausam. Often in news for his alleged relationships and break-ups with Bollywood’s reigning divas, we are informed before the interview that he would not like to be asked questions regarding his personal life. However, during the course of the conversation with Dipti Nagpaul-D’Souza , the actor confesses his love for epic love stories and his belief in unconditional love

Mausam is clearly very special to you.
Mausam is special for many reasons, but the most important of all is the subject. We don’t do classic love stories like these anymore. We mostly have rom-coms that revolve around issues between man and woman and their understanding of love. That’s nice and exciting, but not larger-than-life. Films like Veer Zaara, Mughal-e-Azam and Titanic make one feel that unconditional love exists even today. Watching these films makes you want such improbable love to come into your life too.
