Three persons were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the house of rebel RJD MP Umashankar Singh in Chapra in Bihar on Wednesday.
Twelve jeep-borne gunmen attacked the newly-purchased house at Rajendra Sarovar in Chapra and started firing in which the three persons were killed on the spot, police said.
Singh was not present in the house at the time of the attack.
According to locals, the MP from Maharajganj bought the house recently where people close to him and those belonging to his constituency used to put up while visiting the district collectorate and courts of the headquarter town of Saran district.
Those killed were identified as Devendra Singh, an ex- mukhiya, Mani Bhushan Singh and Dinesh Rai.
