Mamata's Junglemahal package: Does it address main issues?

* Says it is time to forget politics of ‘us’ and ‘them’; highlights govt’s achievements
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday asked all political parties to come forward and work together to build a new Bengal — the No. 1 state in the country.
“We will have a meeting of all political parties who have representations in the state Assembly on August 3 as to how we can proceed with the development of the state,” said Banerjee, while addressing the party’s victory rally at Brigade Parade Ground on Thursday.

The CPM welcomed the proposal. “We have already said we will extend all co-operation to the government. We have not yet received any invitation. We will decide after we get it,’’ Surya Kanta Mishra, Leader of the Opposition in the state Assembly, told the Indian Express.
The CM tried to make it evident that she will not indulge in politics of `us’ and `then’. “During the 34-year rule of the Left Front, they indulged in politics of ‘us’ and ‘them’. But we won’t ever do that. We will take everybody along with us to create a new Bengal,” said Banerjee at the rally that was attended by about a lakh people who braved inclement weather.
